Right now, Minnesotans love Mark Dayton, but as Reddit user Jimbo_Joyce discovered that isn’t exactly a new phenomenon.

Here’s a dapper Dayton at the age of eighteen from his High School yearbook:

The adjectives used to describe him then – “conscientious, even-tempered…genuine personality” – all certainly still apply to our Governor who three out of five Minnesotans agree is doing a great job since he was elected.

Just like Governor Dayton left high school with many accomplishments under his belt, he’ll leave at the end of his term with many more.
