Kurt Daudt & Republicans Prove They Can’t Govern & Don’t Value Accountability
Agree on budget bills in the dead of night
ST. PAUL, Minn. – In the dead of night on Monday, with little notice and chance for public input, Republicans agreed to move budget bills that benefit wealthy corporations at the expense of Minnesotans.
“While Minnesotans were sleeping last night, Kurt Daudt and House and Senate Republicans agreed on budget bills that benefit powerful corporations at the expense of hardworking Minnesotans,” said Joe Davis, executive director of Alliance for a Better Minnesota. ”They agreed to vote on these bills in the dead of night, with little notice and chance for public input, despite claiming that they wanted this to be an open and transparent process. This is more of the same from Kurt Daudt, who continues to make promises that he doesn’t keep, proving that he can’t govern and shouldn’t be trusted to do what’s best for our state and our communities.”
