
Gov. Dayton outlined more than 1,000 ideas to make state government easier and less aggravating.

Gov. Dayton’s ideas for making state government work better include implementing the state’s first ever Plain Language policy, making environmental permitting faster and more predicable for businesses, eliminating unneeded and outdated laws, and saving more than one million middle class Minnesota taxpayers time and hassle by making taxes simpler.
