Minnesota has once again secured a spot in the top ten of CNBC’s 2016 list of Top States for Business. This is the third year in a row that we’ve been recognized as one of the best places to live and work.

Ranking fourth overall, Minnesota also received high marks for quality of life, education, infrastructure, and technology and innovation. Last year, CNBC praised the unique path Minnesota took to success and ranked us #1. Following Governor Dayton’s lead, we invested in education and working families, closed corporate loopholes, and asked the wealthy to pay their fair share. This put our deficit budget back on track, and put Minnesota on a path toward a future with more opportunity for everyone, not just the wealthy.

There is still progress to be made, but by working together and celebrating the things that make Minnesota special, we have put ourselves on the road to a better future for all.
