ST. PAUL – Donald Trump will be making a campaign stop in Minnesota today to remind voters of his shared agenda with Minnesota Republicans.
Alliance for a Better Minnesota Action Fund (ABMAF) Executive Director Joe Davis released the following statement:
“On the day of Trump’s visit, Minnesota Republicans and business backers are showcasing their shared agenda by going all in on their Trump-like down-ballot candidates. The Minnesota Jobs Coalition (MJC) made this abundantly clear this week with a TV ad and last minute mailers in support of known racist candidate Nolan West. Meanwhile, Speaker Daudt is spending his time doorknocking with Ali Jimenez-Hopper, who made inappropriate comments about her opponent’s race and sexual orientation.
“Minnesotans who reject Donald Trump should take note that he and his values are being warmly embraced by Minnesota Republicans and the business groups that back them.”
