On Monday, city council members in Moorhead adopted an official resolution declaring the community as inclusive and standing united against hate.

We can probably all agree that this is some much-needed light in the darkness of recent white supremacist violence and crimes against Somali-Americans and people of color in Minnesota and across the U.S.

Cities like Moorhead are proving that Minnesota is a welcoming, inclusive place. It’s time for others to follow suite.
