Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Minnesota today to push President Trump’s harmful agenda. He will, no doubt, try to mislead Minnesotans about the actual impact their administration’s policies have had on farmers. But~! Here’s what he won’t be talking about…

The Trump Administration’s position on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been clear: they want to throw out the entire law. What does this mean for our health care? The number of uninsured in Minnesota would almost double, Minnesotans with pre-existing conditions would no longer be guaranteed coverage, and those relying on MinnesotaCare or expanded Medicaid coverage would lose their insurance.

The Trump budget would slash Social Security, kick more than 200,000 Minnesotans off Medicaid, and endanger Medicare coverage for over one million Minnesotans.

So when you hear the misinformation about all the “winning” that is happening, remember that Trump and Pence have consistently prioritized huge tax breaks for the wealthiest and big corporations at the expense of working Minnesotans. That’s not a win for any of us.
