Here’s how Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and Governor Tim Walz have been keeping us safe during the pandemic:

To keep us safe and informed, Gov.Walz and Lt. Gov Flanagan have been providing us with concrete direction and frequent updates on COVID-19. 

Here are some ways they’re supporting Minnesotans during this crisis:

On Friday June 19th, Gov. Walz ordered flags to be flown at half staff to mourn the loss of loved ones who have passed due to COVID-19. He plans to designate the 19th of every month to loved ones lost due to COVID-19. 

Gov. Walz signed a bill allowing for $62 million to be distributed to small businesses impacted by COVID-19 to help businesses get back on their feet. Check this link out to see the other ways that Gov. Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov Flanagan led by example by getting tested after being in big crowds.
