Conservative gubernatorial candidate Scott Jensen likes to surround himself with some pretty shady friends.
With America’s Frontline Doctors, Jensen has spread dangerous misinformation and far-right conspiracy theories since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, he’s got an equally backwards group of international allies: the World Doctors Alliance.
Who are they?
The World Doctors Alliance is a group led by 12 “medical professionals” from several countries, including Scott Jensen. Together, this group spreads bogus claims and reckless pseudo-science to their online following.
Members of the group have advocated for hydroxychloroquine and animal dewormer as treatments for COVID-19, both of which have led to a number of deaths in the U.S. They’ve pushed back against the use of masks and claimed that the pandemic is a “hoax” (which it obviously isn’t).
One member, who identifies as a “doctor and homeopath,” even asserted that COVID-19 vaccines contain “nanobots” developed for “military purposes” to “make you a controllable puppet.”
Seriously.
I can’t believe I have to say this, but that one definitely isn’t true either.
Given all of this, it’s no surprise that many of the members of the World Doctors Alliance, including Jensen, have had their medical licenses investigated or suspended. We can’t trust Scott Jensen or any of his extremist buddies to make decisions about our public health.
We have to fight back
This group’s lies have dangerous consequences. Vaccine skepticism and use of un-approved treatments have led to too many preventable deaths across the country. And while social media sites try to crack down on COVID-19 misinformation, thousands of people are still seeing the World Doctors Alliance’s lies on their news feeds every day.

We need to make sure that our fellow Minnesotans know the truth about COVID-19 prevention and treatment from medical experts we can actually trust. It’s up to us to hold Scott Jensen accountable and fight back against his dangerous agenda.
