Ryan Wilson is Bad For Minnesota Families
It makes perfect sense that Lisa Demuth chose Ryan Wilson as her running mate. They’re both vocal Trump supporters and would work to bring Trump’s harmful agenda to Minnesota.
Together, Demuth and Wilson would underfund our public schools, give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations at the expense of Minnesota families, and take away our reproductive freedoms.
At a time when Trump’s policies are causing the prices of everything to skyrocket and threatening to rip health care away from tens of thousands of Minnesotans, another rubber stamp on Trump’s agenda in Minnesota is the last thing we need.
Ryan Wilson and Lisa Demuth are Loyal to Trump
In 2020, Ryan Wilson was an election lawyer for Trump’s campaign. He also advocated for Trump’s 2024 reelection.
Previously, Ryan Wilson was a Law & Liberty Fellow at the Institute for Justice, a Koch-funded law firm that has worked to send public school funds to unaccountable private schools through ineffective “voucher” systems, which put kids, classrooms, and teachers at risk.
Wilson was also president of his student chapter of the Federalist Society, whose members questioned the legitimacy of Roe v. Wade.
And Lisa Demuth was one of the 86% of elected Minnesota Republicans who support Trump’s agenda to gut access to Medicaid, social services, and reproductive health care to hand out trillions in tax breaks to big corporations and the ultra-wealthy.
Demuth is also actively seeking Trump’s endorsement.
Minnesotans Deserve Better Than Ryan Wilson.
Now, more than ever, we need leaders who will stand up to Donald Trump and his billionaire friends and fight to protect our families, schools, communities, and fundamental rights.
Ryan Wilson has shown us who he is and what he prioritizes. The last thing we need is a lieutenant governor who won’t put Minnesotans first.
