Here’s why this is bad news for Minnesotans.

Peggy Bennett is an Anti-Choice Extremist.

Despite Minnesotans’ overwhelming support for abortion access, Peggy Bennett supports extreme anti-choice policies. As a state legislator, Bennett co-authored bills to ban and restrict abortion. She also voted against protecting reproductive health care. 

While Bennett aims to ban abortion for the 39th time, she’s failing to lower the cost of groceries for Minnesotans and offers no solutions to the rising cost of health care. 

Peggy Bennett Would Underfund Public Education

Free school meals have been life-changing for children and families across the state. To no one’s surprise, conservative Peggy Bennett voted against the bill to start this program. 

Minnesota schools, teachers, and students rely on federal and state funding to keep schools open and kids safe. But in 2023, Peggy Bennett voted to underfund public schools.

Though she might try to say otherwise, Bennett is no different than the other conservatives running for governor. She has fought against resources for our schools and would continue to do so as governor.

Peggy Bennett is Wrong for Minnesota

Just like every other conservative candidate running for governor in Minnesota, Peggy Bennett’s record shows she’ll side with Trump and conservatives’ harmful agenda any day of the week. This is the type of leadership that will harm Minnesotans even more than Trump already has.

Conservative Minnesota governor candidate Peggy Bennett would strip Minnesotans’ access to health care, block investments in our public schools, and give tax breaks to corporations and billionaires at the expense of working Minnesotans.
