JD Vance is Visiting Minnesota to Promote Trump’s Deeply Unpopular ICE Operation.

The vice president’s visit comes one year into Trump’s second term of wreaking havoc on Minnesotans. Every conservative candidate for MN governor is still seeking Trump’s endorsement.

Vice President JD Vance is in Minnesota, not to discuss a plan to lower the cost of groceries or protect access to health care, but to promote Trump’s deeply unpopular Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation and meet with ICE agents.

In case you missed it… A recent CBS News poll showed that approval of Trump’s deportation program is at its lowest and that 61% of Americans think ICE is being too tough when stopping and detaining people. A majority of Americans feel that ICE is making communities less safe.

Even so, every conservative candidate for Minnesota governor still wants Trump’s endorsement.

For the last several weeks, Trump has given ICE agents in Minnesota near-total legal immunity and license to racially profile and abduct anyone, even American citizens. ICE agents have abused local elected officials, detained legal observers without charges, tear-gassed students and teachers, and smashed in car windows of confused drivers who have crossed their path.

And this is just a glimpse of the heartlessness and cruelty of this administration.

Minnesota’s conservative governor candidates – Mike Lindell, Kendall Qualls, Lisa Demuth, Kristin Robbins, Chris Madel, and Scott Jensen – have either expressed support for Trump’s ICE operation in Minnesota or remained silent.

Minnesotans are united in standing up for our neighbors and demanding that ICE leave Minnesota. We need leaders who will fight to protect us from Trump’s harmful policy agenda.
