Who is Kendall Qualls?

BY:
Kendall Qualls is a conservative running for Minnesota Governor. Here’s everything you need to know about him ⬇️
Kendall Qualls is a Staunch Supporter of Trump
In a 2019 Pioneer Press interview, Qualls admitted to voting for Donald Trump and said he agreed with Trump’s policies. Qualls even hired former Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien as an advisor for his campaign. Stepien is under subpoena for interference in the 2020 election.
Qualls supports Trump and conservatives’ efforts to gut the programs that Minnesotans rely on, like the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid, so that they can line the pockets of billionaires like Elon Musk and give massive tax breaks to big corporations.
Kendall Qualls Praised the ICE Occupation In Minnesota
During the height of the ICE occupation and shortly after Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed by Trump’s federal agents, Qualls posted a video in which he claimed, “We don’t have an ICE problem.”
He also stated, “If I were governor today, I would work directly with the [Trump] administration.”
Minnesotans are still reeling with trauma, and local economies remain in shambles following Operation Metro Surge. Qualls doesn’t care.
Kendall Qualls Wants to Ban Abortion
Kendall Qualls describes himself as “100 percent pro-life,” and was endorsed by a known anti-choice organization, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life.
He supports extreme anti-abortion fake clinics that spread misinformation, encouraging pregnant people not to obtain abortion care.
Kendall Qualls Built a Concerning Campaign Team
Qualls named former conservative Minnesota State Senator Roger Chamberlain as his legislative advisor. Former Sen. Chamberlain has a long-standing record of amplifying racist rhetoric and defending white supremacist groups. In 2020, he retweeted multiple tweets defending the Proud Boys, a white supremacist hate group known for anti-Muslim and misogynistic rhetoric, and inciting violence.
His running mate, Brian Nicholson, is no better. Brian Nicholson is a Kendall Qualls donor and corporate CEO who will side with Trump and conservatives’ harmful agenda over Minnesota families every time.
Just a few weeks ago, a court ruled that two companies Nicholson is closely associated with — Delta Modular Construction and Headwaters Development LLC — owed $77,000 to an insulation contractor that never got paid for their work. In response to a journalist’s question on this topic, Nicholson cited Donald Trump’s “success” as a businessman and claimed it was just “part of doing business.”
Kendall Qualls Would Bring Trump’s Agenda to Minnesota
Minnesotans have already rejected Kendall Qualls twice because they know his extreme policies will only hurt our schools, families, and communities. While he continues to vie for Trump’s endorsement, Minnesotans will not forget the damage this vicious agenda has inflicted on our communities.
