To pay for this multi-trillion dollar tax giveaway for corporations and billionaires, Trump and conservatives are planning to slash Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act and strip health care away from hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans.
More than 85 percent of Minnesota conservatives in the legislature support Trump’s cuts to the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and social services to hand out trillions in tax breaks to big corporations and billionaires like Elon Musk.
Medicaid serves 1.4 million Minnesotans, or about one-quarter of the population, including 650,000 children and 125,000 people with disabilities. If enacted, this plan would devastate families across the state, leaving them without the essential support they rely on.
