Tonight, we watched Trump tout election misinformation, anti-democratic extremism, and divisive policy on a Fox News Town Hall.

Minnesota conservatives have a long history of fueling extremism, division, and undermining our democracy. It is clear from their announcement supporting Donald Trump for president that they will continue to do more of the same this year. 

The 2023 legislative session brought countless progressive wins to Minnesota. Many of the new policies passed by progressives took effect earlier this year in August, but several more will take effect on the first day of 2024. Read all about Minnesota’s new laws in this blog. 

From extreme abortion bans to voting against affordable health care, we’re spreading the word about Mike Johnson and his out-of-touch and extreme priorities.

First up on the naughty list is Senator Steve Drazkowski, who adamantly opposed the bill that provided free school meals to Minnesota kids. During a debate on the bill, the Senator stated that he has  “yet to meet a person in Minnesota who is hungry.”  Drazkowski’s comments are completely unacceptable and out of touch with the struggles of Minnesota families.

Mike Johnson is an extreme conservative who has tried to ban abortion nationwide, halt efforts to make health care more affordable, and gut support for public education. 

December 3rd is International Day of Persons with Disabilities! The day seeks to promote awareness and rights of persons with disabilities and to celebrate their diverse lives and perspectives. Price gouging is a term used to refer to business practices that artificially increase prices at an extreme level. Things have only gotten worse since the 2020 pandemic; price gouging has been on the rise, impacting families all over the country. And while mega-corporations like Amazon continue to rake in record profits, working families bear rising costs.
