This year alone, Minnesota conservatives introduced 14 bills that target transgender Minnesotans. These bills try to ban gender-affirming care and erase trans people from public life. But it’s not just happening in Minnesota. Conservative lawmakers here are taking the lead from Donald Trump and extreme conservatives in Congress.

A federal budget bill just passed the US House of Representatives, but its conservative supporters don’t want you to know what’s in it. The bill includes enormous tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations that are paid for by taking health care away from working-class Americans.

Instead of taking the hint from the Minnesotans who rejected him, he’s back and bringing the same extreme, anti-choice, conservative rhetoric.
