Scott Jensen, Kristin Robbins, and Kendall Qualls would gut Medicaid and health care access for Minnesota’s working families.

Donald Trump and conservatives want to dismantle the programs Minnesotans rely on, like Medicaid, all to fund massive tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations. Instead of standing up for communities, the conservative candidates for Minnesota Governor — Scott Jensen, Kristin Robbins, and Kendall Qualls — are running to bring that harmful agenda here to Minnesota.

Scott Jensen

Minnesotans rejected Scott Jensen during the 2022 election because they know his extreme policies serve the ultra-wealthy, not working people.

Donald Trump endorsed Scott Jensen during the 2022 gubernatorial election, and Jensen supports Trump’s policies that defund public education and gut health care programs to give tax breaks to large corporations and billionaires.

Scott Jensen has said that public education is “a black hole” and he would put “less money” into Minnesota schools as governor.

As a state senator, Scott Jensen voted to underfund Minnesota schools and reduce access to pre-K for Minnesota’s youngest learners. And Jensen voted to give millions of dollars in tax breaks to the wealthiest Minnesotans and big tobacco companies at the expense of schools and health care.

Just like Trump, Jensen is an anti-choice extremist who would work to ban abortion and roll back reproductive rights. During his failed 2022 run for governor, Jensen confirmed that he would try to ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest. And in the same interview, Jensen said he would sign any legislation restricting abortion that would come to his desk as governor.

Kristin Robbins

Robbins has a long record of siding with Trump and extreme conservatives over Minnesota families. Time and again, she’s pushed policies that would take away our freedoms, gut our health care, and put the interests of big corporations and the ultra-wealthy ahead of working people.

Robbins supports Trump’s plan to slash Medicaid, social services, and reproductive health care, all to hand out tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations. As a state legislator, she authored bills to defund rural health care agencies, threatening the care Minnesotans rely on.

Kristin Robbins supported Trump for president in 2024 and said she would welcome an endorsement from Trump.

Robbins also voted against holding Big Pharma accountable for skyrocketing drug prices and opposed legislation to make insulin more affordable for Minnesotans.

She even authored bills to ban abortion and defund Planned Parenthood.

And when it came time to put kids first, she failed again. Robbins voted against free school meals for kids and opposed fully funding our public schools.

Kendall Qualls

Kendall Qualls supports Trump and conservatives’ plan to gut the programs that Minnesotans rely on, like the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid, so that they can line the pockets of billionaires like Elon Musk and give massive tax breaks to big corporations.

Qualls’s ties to Trump aren’t anything new– in a Pioneer Press interview in 2019, Kendall Qualls admitted to voting for Donald Trump and said he agreed with Trump’s policies. Kendall Qualls even hired former Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien as an advisor for his current campaign.

He would even push Trump’s extreme agenda to roll back reproductive rights and ban abortion. Qualls was endorsed by a known anti-choice organization, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, and supports extreme anti-abortion fake clinics that spread misinformation, encouraging pregnant people not to obtain abortion care.

Minnesotans Deserve Better

Jensen, Robbins, and Qualls would put Trump’s dangerous plan into action in Minnesota: gutting Medicaid, slashing health care, and rolling back our reproductive freedoms. Minnesotans deserve better.
