March Badness Update: Norm Loses to Boehner.

The Norm Coleman legal soap opera seems more like a 15-round boxing match, but it’s March and we can only use so many sports metaphors at one time. March Badness

Our friends at One Wisconsin Now are putting all your "favorite" politicians into a March Badness tournament bracket and they need your help to pick the winners.

They’ve taken the traditional  tournament bracket and "filled it with the worst-of-the-worst we’ve heard from the right so far this year."

There are eight match-ups in each of two divisions–named after Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly–and after the end of each voting period, only one offensive right-wing moves on.

In the first round of play, former Senator Norm Coleman was schooled by House Minority Leader John Boehner.

The ballots were tallied and in our play-in game, you voted House Minority Leader John Boehner’s grandstanding obstructionism over Sen. Norm Coleman’s never-ending legal circus.

No recount. No nonsense. Norm Coleman: You lost.

It might be for the best, but I wonder if Norm will make a surprise comeback, considering that he broke state law by revealing the personal and financial information of his donors and supporters….

Check out March Badness, vote for the worst, and print out a bracket to follow along.
