Lisa Demuth Would Ban Abortion.
Lisa Demuth has a track record of opposing reproductive rights. As recently as 2023, she was the chief author of a bill that would ban abortion in Minnesota. Demuth also voted against the PRO Act and the Reproductive Freedom Defense Act in 2023, both of which provide essential protections for pregnant women.
Her attempts to slash access to reproductive health care earned her the 100% rating she received from the extreme anti-choice organization, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL).
Lisa Demuth Put Corporations Above Minnesotans.
Lisa Demuth has proven that she won’t put people over profits. Demuth is one of the 86% of elected Minnesota Republicans who support Trump’s agenda to gut access to Medicaid, social services, and reproductive health care to hand out trillions in tax breaks to big corporations and the ultra-wealthy.
She voted against holding Big Pharma accountable for skyrocketing prescription drug prices and opposed legislation that would make life-sustaining medicines like insulin more affordable for Minnesotans.
When given the chance, Demuth wouldn’t even put kids first. She opposed providing free school meals to kids and voted to underfund public schools.
Minnesotans Deserve Better Than Lisa Demuth.
Now, more than ever, we need leaders who will stand up to Donald Trump and his billionaire friends and fight to protect our families, schools, communities, and fundamental rights.
Lisa Demuth has shown us who she is and what she prioritizes. The last thing we need is a governor who won’t put Minnesotans first.
