Trump Just Endorsed Mike Lindell for Minnesota Governor.

On July 15, 2026, Donald Trump endorsed conservative Mike Lindell for governor of Minnesota. In a Truth Social post, Trump said, “MIKE LINDELL HAS MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT.”
Alliance for a Better Minnesota’s Executive Director, Marissa Luna, on Trump’s endorsement of Lindell:
“Minnesota conservative governor candidate Mike Lindell is a far-right extremist who has spent years doing Donald Trump’s bidding. Lindell supports Trump’s policies that cut healthcare to give huge tax breaks to the ultra-rich and big corporations, praised Trump’s ICE operation in Minnesota, and has spread baseless election conspiracy theories.”
“Trump’s endorsement of conservative Mike Lindell for Minnesota governor confirms what we’ve known this whole time, that Lindell would bring Trump’s dangerous, harmful agenda to Minnesota.”
While Minnesotans defended their community from Trump’s violent federal agents during Operation Metro Surge, Lindell praised Trump’s ICE operation and traveled to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago for a fundraiser with Trump’s billionaire friends.
Lindell praised Trump following the passage of Trump’s 2017 tax law, which was a massive tax giveaway for the ultra-rich and big corporations, eroded the U.S. revenue base, and failed to deliver on its promised economic benefits for working people.
Mike Lindell and Trump have a long-standing personal relationship, and Lindell has described their beliefs as “perfectly aligned.”
Lindell has faced several defamation lawsuits stemming from his 2020 election conspiracy claims, and federal agents seized his phone in 2022. In June 2025, Mike Lindell was found guilty of defamation in federal court for touting Trump’s baseless election conspiracy theories. Lindell even admitted that he and Trump meet regularly to talk about election conspiracy theories.
Lindell supports extreme anti-choice policies and produced and funded the anti-abortion movie Unplanned that spreads misinformation about abortion care and attacks organizations like Planned Parenthood.
