Conservatives want to ban a common abortion medication effectively suppressing abortion in all fifty states including Minnesota. 

Last night, Governor Walz Delivered the 2024 State of the State address at Owatonna High School in Minnesota. He highlighted the work progressives have done to make Minnesota the best state for children in the country and plan to keep fighting for working families and communities. 

The Affordable Care Act is the largest expansion of the Medicaid and Medicare programs since they were enacted in 1965 and improved the health of all Americans, including women and families, kids, older adults, people with disabilities, LGBTQI+ and communities of color.

Women are making history throughout Minnesota and across the nation but it isn’t easy to celebrate this month without reconciling with the reality of reproductive rights at this moment.

Since announcing his bid for the White House, Donald Trump has been touting an extreme and anti-democratic agenda, threatening to abuse power, celebrating the end of Roe v. Wade, and promising to enact cruel and out-of-touch policies. 

Once again, Minnesota conservatives are disregarding the needs and wants of millions of Minnesotans in favor of extreme and dangerous restrictions on abortion.
