Yesterday, Governor Tim Walz unveiled a spending proposal focused on funding public education and ending childhood poverty in Minnesota. 

When she was elected as Lt. Governor in 2018, Peggy became Minnesota’s first Native American Lt. Governor and the first Native American to hold statewide office.

Today we’re introducing the newly elected progressive senators! We can’t wait to see what’s possible with their leadership paving the way for future generations of Minnesotans. 

Now, our progressive leaders at the Capitol are following through on their promises by making moves to codify reproductive rights into law. 

Happy new year! Through the ups and downs, we showed up in 2022 by fighting for our communities and standing up for what we believe in. We can’t wait to see what progressives in office will accomplish this year and are hopeful that, slowly but surely, we can continue to fight for a better Minnesota.
