Sen. Tina Smith is the kind of leader Minnesotans need.

The mask mandate was put in place to protect our health, slow the spread, and get us closer to our normal functioning society. We can do this, Minnesota. Mask up. 

Gov. Tim Walz, local school leaders, Minnesota health experts, and many others are working hard to ensure that we have a safe and data-driven plan in place that works for parents, students, and teachers.

On July 23, Gov. Tim Walz signed the Minnesota Police Accountability Act. This is a big step in the right direction, but we still have a lot of work to do.

Getting rid of these benefits in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic is one of the worst things Trump and Republicans could do.

Conservative Rep. Nolan West isn’t concerned about ending racism. In fact, West has a long history of making divisive, racist comments.

Keep stepping up Minnesota. Together, we will get through this pandemic.

Property can be replaced. Black lives can’t.
