We’ve come a long way with LGBTQ+ rights, but Republicans keep living in the past.

Paid family leave? Blocked. Equal Rights Amendment? Blocked. Common-sense gun violence prevention measures? Blocked. These were the things that Minnesotans demanded and rallied for all session, and Republicans refused to listen.

In the last few days of negotiations, Republicans have left many of the measures that Minnesotans care about most on the cutting room floor (and then lied about it). Here’s the worst of the week.

Even in the final stretch of session, Republicans are still letting Minnesotans down.

Apparently, Minnesota Republicans have had plenty of time to hang out with their buddy Scott Walker, but not enough to show up for Minnesotans.
